We had an awesome time at Sant Jordi Arago! Everybody (other travellers and the lovely staff) were very warm and welcoming. Good common room and kitchen space, lots of information on free walking tours/things to do in Barcelona + nightly events – a great way to meet other travellers! Large lockers, very safe and everyone respectful. Keep in mind, this is a (fairly small) party hostel – so a lot of fun, but not tons of room or privacy. If you’re not so up for the party, maybe not for you.

I’ve been to a lot of hostels throughout my travels, but this is the BEST hostel I’ve ever stayed at. I only planned on staying 3 days, but extended my stay to 10 days of awesomeness!! The best staff, great environment for making new friends, and nightly social activities. I’m truly going to tell EVERYONE who comes to Barcelona to stay here!!!! I wish I could’ve stayed longer.

Perfect location, perfect cleanliness and structures, the staff is very very friendly and does its best to create a good atmosphere and let everyone meet and make friends. they put music in the evening and organised parties every night that I was there. very highly recommended!!

I had an excellent time. I was traveling alone and really, I cannot think of a better place to stay if you are; the atmosphere is excellent plus you get to meet a lot of people. The staff is great, it really gives you an opportunity to enjoy yourself.

Brilliant Place ! I had such a good time at the Hostel, i spent 5 nights in Barcelona and it was perfect place to meet lot of people and hang out at coolest places in Barcelona. Sangria evenings are perfect for breaking ice between people. The staff is really so kind, helpful and interesting, they are ready to help all the time. You get maps, bus information, and personal suggestions of places one must visit while in Barcelona. Hostel is clean and cosy and i definitely recommend this place.

Barcelona is now my favourite European city because of this hostel! It is a small, well thought out place which creates a real family orientated atmosphere. I spent a lot more time in the hostel than I did out in the city sightseeing! Everything is clean, comfortable beds etc. The organised Crazy Party Nights by the hostel are AMAZING! They are a must! The best part of Arago though is Caio, the receptionist who is always happy and loves to talk with you about anything! I miss our card games!

This Hostel was the coolest hostel ive ever stayed. the crew was very down to earth and friendly and on the first day they cooked Paella for the guests and the second night they made sangria for the guests. the clubs they took us to were really fun. they are also located right next to the subway station and a few blocks away from the main catalunya plaza. great staff and a great overall experiance.

I wish I could rate Sant Jordi higher than 100%. This was my first time ever staying in a hostel- I was a bit weary. I had an absolutely wonderful stay. The rooms and bathrooms are very clean, the staff is extremely helpful, honest, and friendly, and the location is incredible. Everyone instantly became friends– it’s a very welcoming and fun atmosphere. Residents hang out in the rooms, common room, or kitchen. All of this with free pub crawls almost every night– you can’t beat that!

It’s hard to put into words what a truly special place Arago San Jordi is. The location is perfect, it’s cleaned head to toe every day, and the size of the place is small enough to allow the perfect atmosphere for meeting your hostelmates. But what really makes it so wonderful is the incredibly warm and welcoming staff. They immediately welcome you into the family, which as a solo traveler meant a lot. By the time I left, everyone was a friend…I can’t wait to go back!

This hostel was great! Excellent rooms with lockers, nice kitchen, a main room with a TV and 2 computers, the WiFi works great. Its a small and cozy hostel but at the same time great for meeting people and going out! The staff is GREAT. They make you feel right at home. Gustavo, Mikel, Caio, and Carmelita are amazing! You wont want to leave this hostel!

This hostel is a GREAT place to stay! Located next to casa battlo it’s a 10 minutes walk to Placa Catalunya and 1 minute to the next metro station. Very safe neighbourhood. The hostel has a great athmospehere, like you’re staying at a friends apartment. Nice kitchen and living room which makes it very easy to meet people. The staff is great, has always some special hints and makes you feel very welcome! If you’re up for a party, you can join the organized night out. Thanks for the great time!!

I usually travel alone and stay by myself in hotels, but this time tried to do something different and stayed in Sant Jordi Arago… best decision I’ve ever made! not only the hostel is located conveniantly close to all mayor points of interest, but also is one block away to La Rambla and not very far to the El Gotic, which where my two favorite places to hang out. I have to mention that the staff was amazing and willing to help providing any information needed. The hostel has nice atmosphere.

My stay in Barcelona was overshadowed by Sant Jordi. This is place is awesome and I met a bunch of people I will be friends with for life. Mikkel is the man, super friendly and makes you feel at home the minute you walk in. The kitchen and common area are great for bringing people together and the pub crawls are a great way to experience the cities excellent night life. I will absolutely stay here again!

Loved being here, was a great place for my final couple nights in Barcelona. The staff are very friendly, Carmi was pretty amazing and always a pleasure to be around. The place is situated in a great location, nearby loads of touristy stuff, and easy access to the metro and touristic buses. If you ever wanted to just chill in the hostel to relax your feet, they have a great selection of tv shows/movies to watch.

The hostel was a cosy place where not only were the other travellers great but the staff went out of their way to ensure our stay was a great experience. The staff were absolutely amazing. Mikel, Carmelita and gustavo made the stay so much fun! Not only did they recommend great things to see and places to go, but they made us feel right at home. They have made it a memorable experience and one I will definately recommend

Sant Jordi Arago is defiantly the best one iv’e been to in my one month backpacking Spain. For me it was more like a family than a hostel. Its very small, and thanks to that you get to know everyone: the staff and the guests. The staff- what can I say about them? Miguel, Gustavo and Carmelita (Party girl) are amazing people, always willing to help and give a good advice. The pub crawls are a lot of fun, and staff joined us too. The good location just adds to the hostel amazing character!

Sant Jordi Arago hostel is one hell of a damn good hostel. This hostel carries a vibe amongst its visitors that is very rare to come by. Once stepping your foot inside the hostel door you are greeted by amazing staff, and welcomed by all the other travellers, creating a feeling that you have been there your whole life. If I had it my way, I would be there my whole life.

We had such an amazing time here! The staff are the BEST and definitely made our stay in Barcelona so much! They are so helpful, friendly, and really know how to show you a good time! Thanks guys!!

Sant Jordi was an outstanding hostel. Excellent location, great facilities, clean and safe. Gustavo and Miguel who worked at the desk were amazing in helping out, showing you around and taking care of you. The people who stay at Sant Jordi Arago are really cool. Easy place to make friends. You can always find someone to tour, party and eat with.

Sant Jordi Arago Hostel is the greatest hostel I have ever stayed. Living at the hostel felt like being a local having your own apartment in Barcelona. A perfect, cozy, clean and central apartment with the greatest open-minded family members (the hostel is quite small, so you get to know everyone), super helpful and cool older siblings that can give you advice about everything from cool places to go to life dilemmas (the staff) equipped with everything you could need (eg. beach stuff & movies)

St. Jordi Arago was the best Hostel experience you could imagine!!! Every person working there had you in great spirits ready to tackle the city like the locals, treating you like they have been your friend for years. Had a great time at Sant Jordi! All the staff were really helplful, to find out where to go and what to see. The atmosphere was awesome, everyone was so friendly, it felt secure at all times and we never had to worry about our things being stolen etc, we even left our door open at most times! The organised bar crawls were lots of fun too. Facilities were good and wi-fi always worked really well!

This is hands down the best hostel I have ever stayed at. The staff is amazing, especially Tadeo; the location is perfect, right around the corner from Casa Batlló; and the facilities are nice. The staff takes you out every night to a bar and a club, and everyone staying there meets up in the kitchen beforehand for cheap drinks. The partying is unparalleled and I would recommend this hostel to anyone thinking about Barcelona.

I came to Santa Jordi Argo to stay by myself for the first at a hostel ever. Me and my friends stayed in a nice apartment on Las Ramblas earlier in the week, but I had more fun im one night at Sant Jordi Argo by myself than I had all week! The staff is AMAZING, they create a very warm and inviting atmosphere that helps aid in making friends with everyone that is staying there. If you are having any dobuts about where to stay you should definitely stay here! The lockers are HUGE and secure!

This hostel made our experience in Barcelona. Everything was top notch. The location was perfect and the staff was very knowledgable and friendly. They have lockers for every guest which I was a huge fan of. The hostel was very clean and we felt very safe. The pub crawls were great, there were no covers at the clubs and we were able to cut the line.

Had the time of my life in Barcelona and it was mostly thanks to the AWESOME staff at Sant Jordi and the awesome fellow travellers that you meet there. It’s so easy to travel around Barcelona from here, such a great location! The hostel makes it easy to socialize with everyone and plans bar/club excursions every night- go to the shot bar FOR SURE! Awesome lockers with a lot of space… I have nothing bad to say about this amazing hostel

staff are amazing. pub crawls are crazy. great atmosphere. smore expensive on weekends unfortunately. its dead centre of city so almost everything is acessible. metro station 2 mins away. small hostel, makes it feel like family. Probably one of the best hostels I have stayed in! The staff were excellent and so friendly and I got to meet a lot of cool people at the hostel. It had a very good vibe about it…I almost felt like I was staying in a flat share as you get to hang out with the other travellers in the kitchen and also during the nightly pub crawls that the hostel organises. I would definitely stay here again if I visit Barcelona…!

A friend and I stayed at Sant JordI Arago and at SJ Diagonal. BOTH we exceptional hostels with exceptional staff. Arago is clean and spacious, with awesome high ceilings and windows in the kitchen and common room. Less then a block from the Passig de Gracia metro, and a couple from Plaça Catalyuna, it is right where you need to be in Barcelona to get anywhere. This was my second time in Barcelona and it would have not have been so great without the people (guests and staff) of Sant Jordi.

The atmosphere and people there were amazing! It was like freshers week at uni all over again, everyone just ridiculously friendly and up for a laugh! Staff were mint and the location was fab.

Fantastic hostel!! My first experience in a hostel and I must say it completely lived up to all the reviews..the staff is very friendly and helpful…they are always there to help you with travel ideas and to make your stay and trip better…hostel is in the prime location so everything important is at a walkable distance and the best places to eat/shop are also nearby..met some wonderful people also staying in the hostel..perfect balance of privacy and friendliness…

This is the first time I’ve ever backpacked by myself to another country, so imagine my surprise when I was greeted by the staff like I was coming home. Mikel, Steven and Gustavo were the ones who really breathed life into this place and made it always a nice place to come home to after a tired day out. The environment here is reflective of Barcelona’s young and vibrant populace. Full of free socials, it really cements the fact that Barcelona is a party capital of Europe! I absolutely loved it!

My friend and I stayed at this hostel for three nights while visiting Barcelona. It was only our second time staying in a hostel and our first time doing a mixed dorm. We were nervous about it at first and didn’t know what to expect, but it worked out totally fine!! We had an awesome time and made friends with a lot of the other people at our hostel which were our age as well (20-24). We didn’t feel uncomfortable once and the hostel was very clean. Quaint and cute little hostel. Loved it, felt comfortable and at home. The Dorm I stayed in had 10 beds, but it was big enough that we didn’t feel cramped together. Also – here is a big one: the ventilation is great in the room so it doesn’t get all hot and stinky from too many people and not enough airflow. I slept so peacefully. The Matron of the place was probably the nicest person I’ve ever met. She will do laundry for you if you need it. Come and go as you please. Really Cozy.

It was my first time in Barcelona and I loved every minute of it! The hostel was just awesome probably one of the best hostels I have ever stayed in! The staff were friendly and if you needed something they would go out of their way to help you! The facilities were great and the location is spot on as you are two minutes from a metro station and short walk to the city centre! If you like to party then they host bar and club crawls every night I didn’t miss a night! I’ll be back in april!!

One of the best experiences I have ever had in a hostel. There are organized parties every night. I met some of the coolest people there. Staying at St Jordi’s is like staying with family. The staff are crazy, crazy good. Duda, you rock my world. Clothing is always optional but not preferable. This hostel provided me with everything plus more. Barcelona is incredible, but it was St Jordi’s Arago that made it unforgettable.

After already knowing barcelona the stay in Arago made me want to come back asap.. all the staff are amazingly relaxed and make u feel comfortable in a well managed facility. If u are young and willing to get to know people and partying and not just sleeping next to them, arago provides you that. In overall, the fun, the atmosphere, the cleanliness.. values the good reputation.

by far the best hostel i have ever stayed at… it’s small, clean, suuuuper fun (free pubcrawls!), green (lots of recycling!), and in a great location. i wanted to come back to barcelona purely to spend more time in this place. i’ll remember the people i met here for a long, long time. 100% recommend it

As a 20 year old girl travelling by myself, never did I feel as at home as I did at Sant Jordi, Arago, Barcelona. The atmosphere is one of family, where everyone looks after each other and becomes clsoer than acquaintances. During my time at this hostel we had family dinners, drinks and this has resulted in me having friends from all over the world. The beautiful staff at St Jordi took us all out to the coolest bars and clubs and the best nights of my entire trip were during these nights. xxxxx

San Jordi was the best hostel I’ve ever stayed at. The staff was like a family and they were so helpful with everything. I liked this hostel so much I extended my stay in Barcelona another week and a half. It was by far the best hostel I stayed in in Europe. AMAZING staff, super friendly and fun. bathrooms were always clean and rooms are cleaned every morning. Beds were very comfortable (And not the crappy iron ones you find in most hostels) VERY VERY safe location, in the ritzy part of the city with high end shopping but only a 15 minute walk or a 5 minute metro ride to la rambla. STAY AT THIS HOSTEL!

Amazing. I loved staying here. Great place if you are traveling alone or in a small group. Pub crawls are so much fun, staff is friendsly and amazing. Great place to stay if you are looking to go out and have a great time in Barca. Great location also, very centrally located with easy metro access.

I´ve had an absolutely amazing time here! Loved it so much I cancelled my other hostel booking upon my return to Barcelona to stay here again. Great district, less than 5 min walk to the metro, restaurants, bars and great shopping. Best hostel staff that I´ve met, providing local guidance to must see attractions and fun to party with! I would recommend to any of my friends in a heartbeat.

This is, for sure, the hostel you want to stay at if you’re looking for party! The location is perfect, really close to the Plaza Catalunya and really easy to go everywhere else! The staff is really friendly and always have plans for parties, every single day of the week! So, if fun is your thing, this is the place!

The staff is so passionate and the location is excellent! It’s very convenient to take bus, metro even train. Thanks for the party hold every day and gave me a nice memory. I love Barcelona and San Jordi.

I probably stayed in more then 50 hostel during my travels, but Sant Jordi Arago Hostel is one of the best. The staff is incredible helpful and you can always asked them for help or for an advise! Furthermore it is really clean.

Such a fantastic hotel. Staff are friendly and always happy to advise you on where to go and what to do. Nightly bus picks you up to go to different clubs. If you want to kick back and relax there was a great lounge area with plasma TV and movies, free wifi and large common cooking area. Best hostel that I have stayed in Europe, definitily recommond.

Great party hostel! Very small in comparison to some of the other hostels in Barcelona, but due to that it’s great for really getting to know the people that you sharing the hostel with. Would definitely stay there again.

I CRIED WHEN I LEFT!!! This was the BEST HOSTEL I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED!! Seriously the staff makes you feel like family and the people you meet are just incredible because the hostel is so small and you’re encouraged to get together. NIGHTS ARE AMAZING!! The hostel pre-games together and off the the best parties in the city with the other Sant Jordi hostels. I AM DEFINITELY COMING BACK!! Beyond words, I miss it soooo much!

Very safe and fairly central location! The staff was outstanding – sometimes it was hard to tell if they were travelers or employees. Great hookups to big clubs in the city. If you’re looking for a great time and want to meet people, this is definitely the place to go.

Location is the best part about this hostel as it;s a walk to everywhere. It’s very very clean and the staff are fantastic and very very helpful. It is quite small though, only a few rooms There are events EVERY night so you wont’ be bored, however it means that for us at least we were woken up every single night by people coming in very very loudly! So if you were hoping to get some sleep this might not be the best place for you Still would highly recommend it!

The staff is hilarious and helpful! The organized nights out are a blast. It has a family atmosphere that I loved.

Perfect little hostel, have hepas of things planned for people to do within the whole chain as well. Meaning you get the attention of a small hostel, but the people to meet and the activities of a large hotel.
