Stayed in an 8 bed mixed dorm. Lockers are good and secure. Staff is amazing and the hostel is very clean! Lots of great suggestions and an event every night! It's not close to the old city but the Gracia neighbourhood has lots of great little streets and shops to explore and you're only a few metro stops from any of the main tourist attractions. I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely stay here again!

This is a great hostel, everything is good: the neighborhood, the facilities and the staff are great too. The atmosphere is really nice and it almost makes you want to work there as well :D I stayed there for two weeks, but time went by so fast. I met people from all over the world and everyone is so friendly. I had a great time, muchas gracias! ps: Bruno, you're the man :) now please try to detox when you're back in Portugal, your liver will thank you.

Would highly recommend staying at Sant Jordi Hostel Gracia! This is in the top-tier of European hostels. This was about the 30th hostel that I have stayed at…and it was easily in the top 2 or 3. The community vibe is amazing. Staff are 10/10. Rooms are great. Washrooms/rooms are clean. Backyard and upstairs patio. Computer/chill area. Kitchen. Modern feel. Pre-drinks and pub crawls every night. Also stayed at Rock Palace…was expecting more of a party…however Sant Jordi Gracia was better than this hostel in basically every respect. Gracia is 2 steps above Rock Palace. The Gracia area has excellent food and boutique stores. There are many plazas to hang out in at night, where people are chilling and drinking. It’s about 5-10 minutes by train/underground to get downtown ($2 euros). Location is not perfect, but its still very good! Had no problem training and loved the Gracia area. Somewhat of a hipster area. Do yourself a favour and stay here. It will be well worth it.

This hostel is absolutely pumping! Garcia is a pretty hip and happening part of town too and it’s reasonably connected to the rest of the city as well! Sweet facilities and something happening every night makes for an unforgettable experience in Barcelona.

They say this hostel isnt just a hostel its an experience and they are right! Everyone I meet traveling that says they going to Barcelona I tell them they HAVE to stay at Sant Jordi Gracia. The staff is great, but its so fun and so easy to meet people. After leaving and going to other hostels in other cities, I miss their comfy beds, clean facilities, awesome kitchen and the staff of course who became family by the end. Stay here you wont regret it!

Absolutely fantastic hostel, honestly one of the best i’ve ever stayed in! Gracia is the best neighbourhood to be situated in! Stall were relaxed friendly and felt like friends. Setup of the hostel is great too with plenty of chill areas, though enough space between these and the rooms while stilling being small and intimate. Overall, made my stay in barcleona even better!!

Barcelona was the first city that I visited in Spain and Sant Jordi really made the stay wonderful. From the clean rooms and bathrooms, free key entry lockers, great service (thanks for everything Ronnie!), great location, fun activities each night, and the unlimited Sangria! There are 4 total Sant Jordi hostels in Barcelona. Each night, all the Sant Jordi hostels meet up at a designated bar, then after about an hour or so, they go off to a club. This is free and a great way to meet people. Highly recommend staying here!

One of the best hostels I’ve stayed at. Everything is clean, location is great, and the staff was so welcoming and helpful. Special shout out to Ronnie for taking everyone out on nightly pub crawls and just being a sweetheart in general. I would definitely stay at Sant Jordi Gracia again if I’m ever back in Barcelona!

I was traveling alone and Sant Jordi was perfect! The staff was awesome, very helpful and organized activities for the evening. The group dinner was a lot of fun and a great deal. Thanks to them I got to experience the nightlife in Barcelona and still make it safely back to my room despite traveling by myself! The hostel was very clean with a friendly atmosphere and a great location, very easy to find. The key card for the rooms and lockers was very convenient.

SJ Gracia is the best hostel in Barcelona!!! Good location in the heart of Gracia, really safe and also very close to metro stations. Really good vibes there! A perfect place when you’re travelling alone – the hostel staff organizes a lot of events in the evenings (free pub crawls, sangria night etc) and you can easily get to know everyone. Made a lot of friends and had such a good time! Also a big shout out to my favourite guys Ronnie and Bruno!

Amazing atmosphere and wonderful, beautiful people. Staff and guests. Extremely clean and great conveniences. Great for solo backpackers and a cool location. Feels like a home away from home, so comfortable. Beds and room set-up is perfect (good A.C, and well organised, modern). Great kitchen. It’s so nice to have the option to wash laundry by hand and dry it on the terrace upstairs !

My friend and I stayed here for 4 nights in June and we loved it. It is a smaller hostel but the staff still organise pub crawls and sangria nights which was ace. 24 hour check in and check out which is often essential when backpacking, and staff were helpful when we needed to navigate metro trains and booking our departure train to San seb. Security is amazing, lockers big enough for all your valuables and access cards for the hostel, each room and each locker. Wish we’d stayed longer!

This hostel was awesome. Honestly I don’t have a single complaint. There are cheap places with great food and drinks all around the hostel… The metro is only a five minute walk if you don’t want to walk to gotica or the beach. The common area is lively and the facilities were always clean. Great place to stay in one of the best cities in the world!

Excellent hostel in a perfect location. This was the first hostel I’ve been to that has a dedicated activities coordinator/guide/party animal. Bernardo makes sure everyone is having fun and is included in all of the activities day and night. It’s very easy to meet people and make friends in this environment. The hostel staff were very professional and accommodating. The hostel is very clean and has the most modern amenities available. A must stay while in Barcelona.

Definitely one of the best hostels I’ve ever been to! The staff was amazing and very friendly! Especially love it when Pablo is managing the reception because he is such a fun guy to be around with. Awesome pub crawls and nights out by the hostel as well! The pub crawl guy Lucas, is always so full of enthusiasm and does an excellent job in making sure everyone enjoys the night. All in all, excellent hostel and I’d definitely come back again! :D

Loved my stay with 5 friends @ Sant Jordi Gracia. Would recommend it to anyone, and would go back in a minute if I had the chance.

After staying at the hostel, I worked for a company that I wrote a blog post for, about the area of Gracia.
    http://www.thehideawaysclub.com/blog/the-real-barcelona/

Also wrote a brief post about Sitges beach, just outside of BCN…recommended to us by Duda who works at the hostel.
    http://www.thehideawaysclub.com/blog/sitges-the-best-beaches-barcelona-has-to-offer/

    > Was the best experience ever, and I hope everyone else who goes there enjoys it just as much!

I loved staying here, the attention was excellent, very cool, the rooms comfortable, clean and fully equipped. Thank you!

SANT JORDIII GRACIA WAS BLOODY AWESOME!!! Been to so many hostels around the world travelling from Australia, Asia, USA and all over Europe and I must say I have never had as much fun as I have here! Biggest thanks to all the guys at reception with special mention to Eliza who is by far the coolest and most vibrant host ever – it made our time here spectacular! Fun is an understatement! This is on top of the clean beds, rooms and facilities and ever so helpful staff. Love this city and have fallen for it even more because of Sant Jordi Gracia. 100% rating! Many thanks!

  4. Serina

Best hostel evvvver! Everything you could possible need in an awesome neighborhood. We were made to feel very welcome by a lovely man named Pablo with a superb mustache. Sant Jordi would be be our first hostel to chose if we ever return to Barcelona. Thanks guys ;)
