Sant Jordi Apt. Sagrada Familia
Common area is massive and full of character, my room had it’s own kitchen and lounge area – practically an apartment was such a luxury for 12 euro. Awesome staff, fun nights out and good location!

I liked the atmosphere, the effort of the staff, the organized layout of the hostel, the simplicity of my room (with the heated floors!). i like the sense of safety i felt during my stay there, and the kitchen was very nicely equipped!

I have stayed with my wife in apartments, there was kitchen & 2 toilets/bathrooms. Opposite the Hostel was cheap supermarket, so we can prepare our dinner etc. Location is pretty well – 10 min walk on to Sagrada Familia & 5 min to Subway (and subway will be a best of all way to reach all touristic attractions) 100% welldones!

It was pretty easy to find from the train station. The dorm I stayed in was in an apartment style bigger room that had a bathroom, kitchen, and living area. The ground floor has computers for use and a TV and is a great area for socializing with other travellers. Their wifi was strong at all parts of the hostel and the lockers inside the dorm was secure. The ground floor can get a little noisy and if you open the window in the dorm (which is necessary on a hot night), the noise can seep up to the room, but it’s not obnoxious.

It’s very clean and relatively private, with all the necessary facilities and fully stocked kitchen – a lot of the rooms (mine included) are inside an apartment building where the hostel owns several apartments, so it’s almost like sharing an apartment in the city.

I loved Sant Jordi so much that I ended up staying longer than planned. Everyone there is so friendly and easygoing, they made it really easy to travel alone because you meet so many awesome people! All of the employees are fantastic, but I absolutely adore Emily! She is the sweetest thing ever and makes you feel so welcome! If you are looking to meet tons of new people and have a great time in Barca, this is the place to go! I have recommended it to every person I talk to while traveling. Best experience!

Liked Everything!! Such an awesome hostel. The staff were so friendly and helpful and always asked how my day was. I was lucky enough to be in one of the apartments and have a dorm to myself. Beautiful hostel, beautiful city, highly recommended!

STAY HERE, Sagrada Familia is epic! This is the best hostel, EVER! The rooms are clean with a rad apartment layout, the people are fun, the Party Staff is way too much fun and HOT to boot! What’s not to love?! They threw a ridiculous New Years Party that made me want every day to be New Years. If you want to have the time of your life with a lot of people that like to have amazing adventures, you’re sure to find it here. It almost feels like a dream, but most signs point to it being real. YOW!

The apartment style rooms are awesome! It really feels like a little home away from home. Not much to the beds/ blankets so it got a little cold in the night but other than that it was very nice!

WOW!!! I don’t know if I’ll ever find a place like Sant Jordi again. I don’t know what they feed the staff but they showed us a side of Barcelona I never thought was there!! And, as I stayed in the apartment style side of the hostel, I pretty much had my own place with living room, kitchen and bathroom. I’m not the type to leave a review but this place blew me away with the value.

Great atmosphere, the staff were really friendly and helpful, it’s in a good location and had socials every night. The apartments were nice aswell!

The apartment style rooms were fantastic. You can have your own private room but still have the opportunity to meet other travelers. And it was really clean. The other guests were quite noisy, but generally abided by the no noise after 11.30pm policy.

Great apartment style layout. Very friendly and clean.

This hostel was great, we had stayed in the Apartment style 4 dorm as well as the hostel 12 bed dorm. Both rooms were great, the apartment is more relaxed and quite, where the hostel rooms were more of a party up beat atmosphere. The staff was very friendly. The atmosphere was really good, had a great hang out area that played movies during the day and music videos at night. The staff put on dinners every night for the hostel for 2-3 euros a person. Wifi worked everywhere in hostel and there was also free use of computers. Hostel was very clean, kitchen was big with everything you need. We booked at this hostel for 4 days and enjoyed it so much we ended up staying 9 days. One of the best hostels I have ever stayed at!

Quality, had our own little apartment for 4 with kitchen and lounge, for hostel prices. Highly recommended.
Mark Graham | 21 September 2012 | Hostelbookers
Such good value for money, we paid just under £100 for 7 nights in one of the apartments, 2 bathrooms, lounge area, balcony and kitchen shared with only 10 people when they were full rather than sharing the main common area and big main kitchen that the dorms had to use. Very clean, the cleaning ladies came round every day. Wifi available and 8 computers to use in common area. Only a 15min walk to sagrada familia or about a 2min walk to the metro station or the bus stop is just over the road. Disliked: Balcony was shut after 11pm, but this is a v. minor thing and was to control noise so is understandable. Not unltimately close to the the town centre but transport links v. close by, but to be honest nothing was too far to walk, I walked evrywhere to save money and occasionally use the metro to come back. so if you dont mind a walk thats fine.

the staff is amazing, very helpful and kind, the building is close to sagrada familia and have 2 train stations very close, the hostal is amazingly clean, and comfortable, my room was very nice, with 2 toilets, kitchen fridge, and lockers, so i always felt secure,

Extremely clean, great single room, friendly guests, easy to find. The apartment-style rooms were so so clean and very spacious – felt like a hotel room. There’s also a very affordable grocery store across the street.

All of the staff were so friendly and always kean to help. The interior was beautiful and always so clean! The hostel had such a good vibe about it and i managed to meet some amazing people from all over the world. I thought it was brilliant how quiet the staff managed to keep the hostel late and night. They earned some truely deserved respect!! I really could not pick out any bad points with regard to the hostel itself. I stayed in an apartment, so it was easy to use the kitchen facilities at night. I plan on visiting Barcelona in August as a solo traveller this time and would be slightly put off by sharing a kitchen with so many people, but that is literally the only thing that would concern me and even that would not prevent me from staying again.

This place is fantastic. I stayed in a four bed dorm which turned out to be a shared apartment. I think there are larger dorms, so this review doesn’t necessarily extend to those as it could be a very different experience – I don’t know. Anyway, bed was very comfortable, shower was amazing, kitchen was clean and well equipped, staff were v helpful – really, really impressed.

This hostel was brand new, very clean and had a great vibe. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the hostel had a cool setup so we were in an apartment with 3 rooms and had cooking facilities and a common area in there, and could also spend time in the main common area if we wanted to meet more people.

The rooms are in a flat and the flat is really comfortable like you are in your own home.
Melih Coskun | 23 April 2012 | Hostelbookers
We stayed in an apartment with three small rooms (for 2 or 4 people), its own kitchen, two bathrooms and a living room, so we had a lot of space and privacy. The common areas are very well designed with many comfy chairs and a big screen for movies etc. The hostel was very clean and well organized. A supermarket very near.

This property is close to Sagrada Familia, grocery stores, and two metro lines. I liked our room in the apartments section. Our flat mates were very friendly and respectful of space.
Matthew Gorenc | 14 February 2012 | Hostelbookers
It is amazing that we have so much space, the living room with couch and TV is just awesome, never had that before. and the big commonroom downstairs with those soft mattress and big TV is a super place when you are in the mood to meet people. The staff are quite nice also, very responsive to your needs. I met very nice people in my apartment and I have to say that it was very good experience to stay there.

This is probably the nicest hostel property that I’ve stayed at (not the nicest room, but the nicest property). The pros include: the location (within walking distance from Sagrada Familia and several metro stops), the facilities (new, renovated, and include apartments! That was the best part), the well-supplied kitchens, and the staff, who are extremely helpful and fun.

This has been the best place I have stayed during my travels. The staff are friendly and the lounge, computer and kitchen areas are situated so you can easily meet other travellers. I was travellng alone and have left having made very good friends in such a short space of time. They arrange an outing every night which you’re not inclined to participate in but I would definitely reccomend it. I even ended up going out on my last night with a plane to catch the next day! Sant Jordi Sagrada Familia all the way! The only thing that hindered my stay was the group staying next door to me in my apartment, but that’s just the luck of the draw.

We stayed in a private double which is really a bedroom within a 3 room apartment. You share the apartment with one single room and one 4 bed dorm. There were 2 bathrooms and full kitchen. There was also a washing machine but it was only used by the cleaning staff. The location was a little far out of the cbd but walking distance to sagrada familia. Wifi was great

Friendly staff, good neibourhood with a supermarket and fruit shop in front, cool appartments with kitchen, living room and balcony, good partying; thumbs up.

I don’t know how this hostel doesn’t have 100% for everything! The interior is beautiful and very fresh. Everything is clean, new and looks extremely cool. I didn’t go to any of the events as I had friends in the city, but there was a party organized every night and I know that the places where they went, were in fact the places to be in Barcelona. There is a huge tv in the common room where you can watch movies with other couchsurfers and there are plenty of computers and wifi spots for you to stay connected. I stayed in the appartment area, first in a room with three guys and then in a double room with my friend. We shared two bathrooms, a living room, a balcony and a kitchen between 6 people. The lockers in the rooms were very spacious and fitted even all of my stuff! The location is fine, you can reach it by metro, night bus and the cabs in Barcelona are not very expensive. The staff was friendly too. I can’t recommend this hostel enough!

this hostel was one of my favourites during our trip in europe. i really enjoyed our stay here: the atmosphere is great, the staff is friendly and helpful and it’s so easy to meet ppl there- especially when you join the parties (every night)! it was a little bit outside the citycentre which didn’t bother me at all because there are two metro stations near the hostel…as well as a supermarket (consum) across the street, bank and postoffice next street… it’s also very clean- the appartment we stayed at got cleaned every day!

It has really good common areas with cool bean bags and lots of computers which you can use for free. The kitchen´s are really well equipped. We we´re in a 4 bed dorm which are separate from the other dorms and have thier own private kitchens and living rooms which was nice.

Everyone there was generally between the ages of 17 and 25 so there lots of people in my age group. The organised pub crawls were excellent and we made loads of ne friends and met people from other hostels. Free entry to clubs was also rather brilliant. The place was clean and our apartment was secure and pretty. We even had MTV and a balcony!
Rosanna Dundas | 09 August 2011 | Hostelbookers
The apartment set up for some of the rooms was great. We had our own kitchen, bathroom and living room right outside of our room. The common areas were really modern and well kept. I met some great people at the hostel.

The apartments are great – loved the private kitchen and laundry. The metro system is so good in Barcelona that getting anywhere is easy, cheap and fast.

We got a 4 bedroom room in an apartment as part of the summer sale which was great as we had the feeling of actually living in Barcelona and we could use all of the facilities of the hostel. The apartment was great – very clean and spacious with a little balcony. It was also very close to Sagrada Familia and two metro lines. The staff were great, very friendly and helpful, and every night they organised nights out to clubs in Barcelona so we could meet lots of other people from the hostel. The lockers in the room were great for extra security too.
