At Sant Jordi Hostels our goal has always been to offer our guests an unforgettable experience in a fun and safe environment. The health of our guests and staff is and will always be our number one priority and that is why, given the current health alert situation caused by COVID-19, on March 23 we were forced to halt the activity in all our hostels. As we all know, this situation is being updated daily and it is not possible to set a specific date for the restoration of operations, however we work daily to continue offering the best service to all our guests.
Our desire is to return to normality as soon as possible, open our doors again and welcome you all with the same or even more enthusiasm than before, but for that we need to stop now and stay at home, supporting and thanking those who are on the frontline working hard so that we can be at home and get out of this situation as soon as possible and in the best possible way.
DO YOU HAVE A BOOKING WITH US?
From the bookings department we continue to manage all bookings and we have modified our cancellation policies due to the current situation.
We are adapting the flexibility of cancellations according to the dates that are being updated daily according to the state of alarm in the different countries where we operate.
As of today, if you have a booking with an arrival date before July 1st, you should received an email with all the information necessary to manage the booking. If you haven’t received it, please contact us through email@example.com indicating your reservation number, hostel and dates of the booking.
If you had made a non-refundable booking through our website or through a third party OTA, we offer you the following options:
• Request a voucher* for the amount of your reservation, redeemable until 12/29/2021.
• Request a date change (subject to availability).
• Request the refund of your reservation.
* Vouchers are non-transferable and may not be redeemed for cash. To use your voucher, you will have to contact by email the hostel you had reserved, requesting the number of nights, number of people and type of room you wish to reserve. You will find the email address of the hostel in the confirmation email of your previous reservation.
Remember that, in the case of the amounts that have been charged to you by the OTA’s you must contact direct with them to exchange the amounts for a voucher or to request a refund.
We all face a situation never seen before, and as you can imagine, it is a serious blow for us the hostels. That is why we encourage you not to cancel your reservations and reschedule your trips, we are aware of the current uncertainty regarding future plans, that is why we made available for you the vouchers redeemable until mid-2021. We are handling a large volume of requests these days, we thank you in advance for your patience, we will respond to each and every one of the requests received.

We would have never imagined that we would give out a message like this, but our recommendation at this time is to limit all trips and make only those that are essential. When all this is over, we will have time to go back to those activities that we used to take for granted and now we value more than ever: hugging a loved one, sharing an afternoon on a terrace soaking up some rays, and why not, making new friends from anywhere in the world at any of our hostels.
The state of alarm declared by the Spanish and Portuguese authorities does not indicate with certainty a specific date to return to normality, that is why we accept new reservations but we have flexibilized some of the conditions in order to adapt to your needs at this time.
We have created the promocode (FLEXIBLE) to apply to our standard rate and thus obtain the following conditions:
• 20% discount on the price of the standard rate.
• Book now and don’t pay until a week before arrival.
• Free cancellation until 24h before arrival.
At Sant Jordi Hostels we have always taken health recommendations very seriously, which is why for years we have been working with bactericidal and fungicidal cleaning products that ensure proper disinfection of all areas of the hostel (information sheets for such products are available at reception).
However, in order to adapt to the current situation, we provide our staff with personal protection equipment (masks, gloves and disinfectant solution) and we have soap in all the bathrooms of the hostel for a proper hand cleaning.
